IN PERSON• Vancouver, British Columbia | End-of-Life Doula Training: September 4-7

This September 4-7th we will be heading to the Vancouver, British Columbia area of Canada for a 4-day training held at the YMCA Hotel Vancouver. Learn the INELDA Doula Approach and how to support people at end-of-life through partner and group work.

Doula training is for those who intend to support the dying and their loved ones. Investigate models of care, deep active listening, ritual and ceremonies, vigil planning, and more. Learners will experience 1:1 work with partners, small groups discussions, and multi-media lectures.

This training consists of online prework (10-12 hrs), in-person training sessions (21-25 hrs), and online postwork (2-3 hrs). A Certificate of Completion will be made available after finishing all necessary materials.

IN-PERSON Sessions (REQUIRED):

This training will meet for 4 sessions as follows (all times shown are Pacific Time):

SEPTEMBER 4 | THU 1pm – 5pm
SEPTEMBER 5 | FRI 9am – 6pm
SEPTEMBER 6 | SAT 9am – 6pm
SEPTEMBER 7 | SUN 9am – 1pm
Optional group reprocessing session with your educator(s)

SEPTEMBER 12 | FRI 5pm – 7pm
